Welcome to Tatar Wiktionary ;-) And thank you for your quick responce and commit Wiktionary too. I'm very happy to be with good wiktionarians and long for seeing Tatar Wiktionary growing.

First I don't think *currently* Tatar Wiktionary is growing in same pace of entire Wikimedia project. Smaller, slower from my experiences. You work steadily on Wikipedia, create articles, talk with other Wikipedians and maintain many pages. Perhaps you don't so much edit in a day but in a week you make an amount of editing. I think it is great and necessary. The pace is here not our matters. The important thing is Tatar Wikipedia is growing steadily and very well maintained. It becomes more and more attractive and someday you will find a burst of new editors same as other large projects experienced.

There are some tricks to help project development. If you want to know, later we will discuss it.

Back to the topic, how to edit site messages currently in English:

  • All of those messages are in MediaWiki namespace.
  • You can see all of them in Special:Allmessages. Only sysops can edit them. For example, the banner at the top is on MediaWiki:Sitenotice. To test, I will edit it and leave a simple message.

I try to visit Tatar Wikipedia once a day. If you have anything to talk with me, please feel free to leave it on my talk.

Your admin status

Hello. I'm a steward. A new policy regarding the removal of "advanced rights" (administrator, bureaucrat, etc.) was adopted by community consensus recently. According to this policy, the stewards are reviewing of administrators' activity on wikis with no inactivity policy.

You meet the inactivity criteria (no edits and no log actions for 2 years) on ttwiktionary, where you are a bureaucrat and administrator. Since ttwiktionary does not have an own administrators' rights review process, the global one applies.

If you want to keep your rights, you should inform the community of the wiki about the fact that the stewards have sent you this information about your inactivity. If the community has a discussion about it and then wants that you keep your rights, please contact the stewards at m:Stewards' noticeboard, and link to the discussion of the local community, where they express their wish to continue to maintain the rights, and demonstrate a continued requirement to maintain these rights.

We stewards will evaluate the responses. If there is no response at all after approximately one month, we will proceed to remove your administrative rights. In cases of doubt, we will evaluate the responses and will refer a decision back to the local community for their comment and review.
